Anglo Saxon Strickland Disc Brooch

The Strickland Brooch, a mid 9th century Ango-Saxon silver disc brooch in the Trewhiddle style, featuring complex zoomorphic patterns. Reproduced in nickel silver, an alloy of copper and nickel which has the attractive look and feel of sterling but contains no actual silver. Etched and finished to a gleaming shine, with a sturdy back pin to fasten a cloak, shawl or any garment. 11.5cm wide.
